About Mark

As an Executive Coach and trusted thought partner, Mark’s North Star is dedicated to empowering executives and startup founders to realize their full potential as successful, impactful, and enlightened leaders.  Drawing on his diverse, global executive leadership experiences from his 22 year Apple career journey, Mark inspires teams to deliver breakthrough results.  As a coach, Mark focuses on raising self awareness and emotional intelligence with leaders to help them be their best.

With a grounded, authentic and transparent leadership style, Mark has a proven track record at Apple in developing high performing leaders and teams, activating  step-function growth in several multi-billion $ business segments in Japan, Korea, North America, and globally. Mark held a variety of roles, including Regional CFO for Japan and Korea based in Tokyo, Sales Finance Controller for North America, Japan, and Korea, and Commercial Sales Channel Chief in the US.

Mark holds a B.S. degree in Business from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and is on the Alumni Advisory Council and is an advisor to the Berkeley Haas Global Management Program. Mark has been trained as a coach at the Co-Active Training Institute. Mark is also a Founding Member of the NxtWaves life coaching Mastermind circle and is a Coach Member of the NxtWaves Coaching Collective.

Mark is active in giving back to the LGBTQ+ community and is on the board of Openhouse SF, which provides housing and community services to LGBTQ+ seniors. Mark also mentors startup founders at StartOut, which empowers LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs to be successful leaders.
